Travelling to Australia at the time of COVID (updated 21 Jan. 2022)

December to March

Australia is currently closed to all tourists, except for the following:

  • Fully vaccinated citizens of Singapore may travel from Singapore to Australia without seeking a travel exemption and quarantine-free to participating states or territories (negative PCR test taken within 3 days of departure). You can find more information here;
  • Fully vaccinated Japanese citizens will be able to travel from Japan to Australia without seeking a travel exemption and quarantine-free to participating states or territories (negative PCR test taken within 3 days of departure). You can find more information here;
  • Fully vaccinated citizens of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) will be able to travel from the Republic of Korea to Australia without seeking a travel exemption and quarantine-free to participating states or territories (negative PCR test taken within 3 days of departure).
